If I were to compare my Kumon journey to one thing, it will be like riding a roller coaster because I have encountered a lot of ups and downs that sometimes, I just want to take a break and say, I quit! However, I realized that I actually enjoy the whole ride.

In Kumon, I developed my skills in solving different mathematical problems and equations. But more than that, Kumon taught me life-changing lessons that helped me build my character. I learned to set my goals and strive for excellence.

I still remember the first time I heard the word Kumon. I didn’t have any idea about it so my mother and I attended the orientation in a Kumon Center. I was in my high school freshman year when I was enrolled in the program. Unfortunately, I just stayed in the center for a year because it’s quite far from our house. My mother decided to transfer me and my sister to a more accessible Kumon Center. Nevertheless, I acknowledge the goodness and patience of my mentors in the first center I went to. They really contributed a lot of memories to my Kumon experience. The second center I went was a new branch at that time. My instructor welcomed me warmly and she really strived hard to help me recall all the lessons. She was patient and even stayed longer hours in the center just to help me understand the advanced lessons.

Being enrolled in the program was a privilege, but finishing it was the ultimate challenge. It was a good thing that my parents, especially my mother, supported me until I finished the program. All my teachers in Kumon helped me in developing my skills. I really appreciate all their effort.

The end of my Kumon study is just the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Kumon is such a great experience. I discovered so many things that contributed to the development of my potential and skills. I strongly believe that through Kumon, we can all progress and achieve excellence and success.
