Stepping Stone to Success
Remember to always make all these challenges a stepping stone to our success.
- 6 years old (K)
I was five years old when my parents enrolled me in Kindergarten in the Mithing Pangarap Foundation. There, I was given the privilege to be enrolled in Kumon. It has been a big help to me since I already know some of the basics, like counting from 1 to 1000. I really enjoyed answering every page in my worksheets.
Honestly, I found it easier and more enjoyable to answer my worksheets at the start; but later in my Kumon journey, the topics started to get harder and harder. However, it didn’t mean that I would give up. I realized that, at my age, I’ve reached a higher level in math compared to other children who are not in Kumon. I am so blessed because of this. I thank God for my family who is always there to support me, especially during hard times. I also thank my Kumon teacher who is very kind and understanding.
Now, I am in grade six and am studying Level M (Trigonometric Functions) in Kumon. As the days go by, our educational journey in Kumon will continue. Life is not always easy, just as Kumon is not always easy. But let us remember to always make all these challenges a stepping stone to our success.
