Kumon Comes to Midland, WA
We are excited to introduce you to Kumon Instructor Toby Ngo.
Toby opened the Kumon Midland Education Centre this May after working as Kumon Senior Assistant for five years within Perth. He studied Kumon himself during his school years and went from struggling with primary school maths to completing the most advanced levels of the programme by Year 9. Toby continued to pursue his interest in maths, studying Engineering up to a post-graduate university level and is now excited to help young learners develop their confidence in the classroom.
‘I want my students to enjoy school; to enjoy not just maths and English, but all subjects. I want them to be able to study material that they haven’t been taught by themselves. I really want to share with them what I experienced’.
Whether they need help to catch up in class or are hungry learners looking for a challenge, Toby welcomes children from preschool to high school to join the Kumon Midland Education Centre and master the fundamentals of maths and English, developing study habits for life along the way.
‘I feel that in Kumon we’re developing confidence, the ability to learn by ourselves, time management skills and discipline. Those are the skills that I believe can be developed through Kumon because that’s how I believe I developed through it too’.
Located within the Midland Sports Complex, Patterson Drive Middle Swan, Instructor Toby looks forward to sharing the Kumon Method with the families of the Midland and Middle Swan area.
